In October 2024, I achieved a lifelong dream - competing in a real motorsport race as part of the @msvtracing Miata Trophy.

This video captures Race 2 of the weekend at Brands Hatch Indy, now on a dry track. As a guest driver starting from the back, I set out to stay with a fast group of experienced racers. I was the fastest newbie in qualifying and came into this race with a personal best of 57.9 seconds.

Thanks to the pace of those ahead, I was dragged into a new PB of 57.0 flat...progress! Still lots to learn, especially when it comes to racecraft, but what a weekend.
