Chin Track Days HPDE event at Sebring – 1/25/2025

This was my fastest time of the day. I managed to shave an entire 7 seconds off my previous best time back in February of 2024. Same exact tires as that day, but with several suspension changes as that event was with the OEM setup.

I feel there's still a lot more time in the car with the current setup. I don't think I managed to put together a "perfect" lap. You can tell I was fighting oversteer, understeer, and just overall lack of grip from these Conti's. It feels as though this new setup requires grippier tires to handle what the suspension is now capable of. Once these give out, I'll make the move into 200tw, but I’m excited to see how fast I can go with these tires as is.

Car and Setup details:
- 2019 Mazda MX-5
- Continental ExtremeContact Sport02 – 215/45/17
- OEM Mazda 17x7 wheels
- GLoc Brakes - R16 front - R12 rear
- Koni shocks and Flyin’ Miata springs
- Karcepts front and rear adjustable sway bars
- GWR RoadsterSport Race Exhaust
- Verus Engineering Brake Ducts
- JBR Differential Mount
