This video is from a recent open practice session at VIR South, hosted by Racing for Heroes. I was able to get a ton of laps today, and really get a feel for this car on track on my V730s. This was my first time tracking a car (outside of autocross) on 200tw tires, and I learned a ton!
I'm super happy with how the car held up. I ran for about an hour and a half total, the car had zero issues, temperatures held stable in a safe range, and I felt zero brake fade all day. The tires held up great too, and even running the car almost out of gas, I had no issues with fuel starving at any point.
The car still understeers more that I'd like, but some of that may be down to old/cold tires. Ambient temperatures were around 40F, so keeping heat in the tires was difficult. After a couple laps the fronts would grip noticeably more and I'd be able to rotate the car into corners much better. I also found that my seating position is not ideal, so I may be adjusting that before my next track day.
