Here is a video from the first session Sunday Morning warming everything up. There are some 36's and 37's in there:
I took it easy on Friday and saw how the car was going to do. Made some minor tweaks. Saturday was mostly the same. I got sucked into lead follow with a friend on Saturday and his AIM showed several 2:32's. I figured I could warm everything up on Sunday morning and by mid day try for a 2:30 flat. I ran the first session and warmed the car and brain up. I parked the car for only 20 minutes and then went back out. As I just wanted to work on a couple turns. About 15 minutes into that session, I got a "rear axle differential temperature increased, reduce speed" warning. Score one for the 2016 mustang now that they have the temp sensors in the diff stock! My fault, I wanted to see how the stock fluid would do. I'm sure if I would have let the car cool down more between sessions I wouldn't have had the issue. I had a 12 hour drive home, so I decided not to push my luck. Hopefully the warning pops up before you cook the fluid. Diff did fine on the drive home and didn't make any noise so I assume it didn't cook the fluid. Will change all fluids in the next day or two. Thought it was worth mentioning though. My attempt to do a 30 flat will have to wait until next time. Such is life. I still had a blast.
