thank you paketu @christian.hadi69 of @e9xenthusiast.id for this opportunity. when he asked me to try his car, i am grateful because i always want to know what a 325i could do on circuit like mandalika. complete with child seat at the back and all his travelling road trips equipments, this family sedan still could do 2:10.16 ❤️
it needs alignment for the circuit but since this is a daily driven car, the straight setup may induce understeer which is expected. good handling and the bigger wheels and tyres provide more than enough grip. the power is not much at all for this heavy chassis, but it is enough to get you in trouble. the conventional mechatronic automatic is smooth but far from responsive. we can overcome this by applying the throttle earlier.
the brake has been upgraded, and provide more than enough stopping power. i never had to brake too hard nor too long. very well setup except the wheel camber settings.
as the prices become more affordable, e90 chassis balance will one day be appreciated for high speed circuit like mandalika
