Buttonwillow 13CW - Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 1:55.36
10-20-23. First time at Buttonwillow running 13CW. This track is far more nuanced and tricky to get down than I initially imagined. Luckily I got lots of track time running an open track format with SoCal Drivers Club. Goal was to get a 1:56 and was able to beat that in the 3rd session of the day around 10:30AM when temps were still cool. Ended up being a very hot day so grip wasn’t the best, but it gave me a chance to work on area’s that I was struggling with earlier in the day. Fun time, will be back again when it cools down more.
Unfortunately the camera from the Garmin Catalyst was giving me issues after the mount came off in my second session and damaged the camera cable, so no track data for my PB. Luckily for me I was running the Boss Vision Mount again and it shows my PB from the POV angle.
