Pheasant Wood Circuit
Pheasant Wood Circuit Notes:
Pheasant Wood Circuit is a motorsport facility located 9 kilometers southwest of Marulan in the Southern Tablelands of New South Wales, Australia, approximately 1.5 hours from both Sydney and Canberra. Originally opening in 2009 as the Marulan Driver Training Centre with a 0.9-kilometer, 7-turn layout, the circuit underwent a massive rebuild commencing in late 2017 and reopened in May 2018 with an expanded 1.6-kilometer configuration featuring 9 corners, including NSW's only two banked corners. The clockwise tarmac circuit winds through traditional Australian bushland with undulating terrain, wide track surfaces, sealed runoff areas, and multiple viewing platforms. The facility also includes a dirt rallycross extension, adding versatility to the venue's motorsport offerings. Pheasant Wood serves as a regional hub for track days, driver training, club racing, and rallycross events, providing accessible motorsport infrastructure between Australia's two major eastern capitals.
