Euroring
Euroring Note:
Euroring is a motorsport facility located 52 kilometers from Budapest, along the motorway M5, close to the city of Örkény, Hungary. The circuit opened in 2004 and complies with all FIA standards, offering modern motorsport facilities. The Euro-Ring Racetrack and Event Center should not be confused with the more famous Hungaroring Formula 1 circuit, which is also located near Budapest.
The race track has a total length of 2,750 meters, with the main straight measuring 330 meters long. The width of the track varies from 12 meters on the main straight to an average of 10 meters on the rest of the sections. The maximum achievable speed on the main straight is approximately 180 km/h. The track features a 9-centimeter thick, excellent quality asphalt layer that fulfills the expectations of the general public attending open days while also meeting the conditions of professional motorsport events. Thanks to its special construction, many alternate racing lines are available, providing varied driving experiences. The facility now boasts 24 renovated boxes for racers and teams, a new tower building housing the race control, and a newly built terrace offering a panoramic view of the entire circuit, making it a comprehensive motorsport venue in Hungary.
