The Bridgestone RE050A is a robust summer tire that provides excellent traction and cornering, with responsive dry and wet road handling, designed for high-performance coupes, sports cars, and sedans. It features a high grip tread compound molded into an asymmetric tread design, with large tread blocks, a straight center rib, and stable shoulder segments. The RE050A stands out from the competition due to its incredible handling, high-speed stability, and traction over dry/wet surfaces. The circumferential and lateral tread grooves pump water out from under its footprint, minimizing the risk of hydroplaning. The Bridgestone RE050A features a treadwear 140 compound with a 10/32'' tread depth. Its 25K miles of tread life represent an excellent value for money, a reason for its popularity among motorsport lovers and fans.

 

The Bridgestone RE050A comes as original equipment for big motorsports names such as the supercharged Mercedes-Benz S55 AMG. A Run Flat version of these tires comes from stock on the BMW Z4. The RE050A is a top choice for manufacturers and drivers with high-performance requirements. Using Bridgestone RE050A tires, especially on models with negative camber setups, enhances wear quality and improves noise reduction. The inner side of the Bridgestone RE050A contains twin steel belts reinforced by spiral-wrapped nylon that stabilizes the tread area, improving handling, minimizing weight, enhancing high-speed capabilities, and overall ride quality.
