Yup! I am proud of this lap.
This is from race qualifying on June 5, 2022. I did one lap; it was one and done. I felt that I set a P1 lap and I did. The 66 car in front of me is owned by Bob Briggs of BriggsBuilt Motorsports and the driver is Steven Libby. He did a fine job, too. I posted a 1:46.84 lap time for P1 and Steve Libby posted a 1:46.97. That is only a 13 thousands difference for P2. The 1:46.61 time labeled Optimal is what the computer says is my theoretical perfect lap time.
Of the two races today, I scored a 1st and a second. Steve posted a third and first. The second race had us cross the finish line .106 apart from each other. It was a great race. Marc LaCorte did a great job finishing second and third. Marc was .4 seconds behind us. It doesn't get better than that.
Spec Corvette runs on the Nankang NS2R 200 tread wear street tire. It is great because you can win the first time out on them, or the third race weekend. They also serve as our rain tires. The cars have Wilwood 355 mm front rotors with six piston calipers. Shocks are Penske single adjustables and Trackspec T1 sway bars, with aFe spherical bearings on the A-arm. Engines are all completely stock and capped at 380 RWHP.
