Its been awesome working on the continued development of the 5.2 Motorsports GT350TR MkIII. This one is going to a west-coast customer who is eagerly awaiting delivery!
This car started from a caged Ford body-in-white and was built to be the "MkIII" version of the GT350TR. It has been developed to take full advantage of NASA ST2 rules with a custom paddle-shift sequential race transmission, bespoke aero, custom 3-way Motion Control Suspension dampers, and many more less obvious improvements over the MKII car. Initial testing demonstrated nearly a 2 second reduction in lap time! I think we're going to have one happy customer :)
Thanks to Cory Deeds for allowing me and Drive Faster Now to be part of the development process of these awesome machines!

Note that the car was not tuned to maximum legal power and I was short-shifting by about 600 rpm. Turn 10b had been damaged on this day, so we were running the old 10a, which was very slick and had grass growing through the cracks!
