Finally I have new track day content to share! It was great to get the car out on track again after nearly a year since my last track day (which I didn't post any footage from). I spent about a week preparing the car and doing various jobs and it paid off, with a faultless performance all day despite the heat (approaching 30°C, hot for the UK). Brilliant handling and really confidence inspiring as usual.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first day on the National circuit at Silverstone. Only one corner was new for me but it was still nice to drive a fairly compact circuit and focus on small incremental improvements to a lap. I went beyond my target lap time and started chipping away at those 420R lap times I'm so eager to match. Those cars run with 175hp and 635kg incl. driver with a sequential box, vs my 180hp and 580kg with an H pattern box, so it should be close in theory...

I made use of DPR Motorsport's video of Gordon Sawyer doing a hot lap with some driver coach analysis, check that out here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U3XYbqcTOmc
