I just purchased my 2020 Shelby Cobra GT500 for my birthday the end of August. I have been itching for a track day since day one and been racking up those miles to hit that 1k track break in. On September 13th I finally got to take the Cobra out for it's first adventure and release the beast!

We had a great time at Buttonwillow Raceways with Speed Ventures. They ran a great program and we can't wait to go back!

The Shelby performed flawlessly as expected and I was way more comfortable out there than I thought I was going to be. By our 3rd round I had made it up to the 5th fastest out of 20 and by our last one I was already 2nd fastest. 

I had a blast trying to chase down that red BMW, he was in my sights the entire time! Maybe next time hehe! He obviously finished 1st and I hit 2nd. I didn't show our last 2 laps where we caught up with everyone else and lapped about a dozen of them.
