Finally made it to the Ultimate Track Car Challenge sponsored by Grassroots Motorsports and Tire Rack! Thanks to Tom Suddard and the crew at GRM for the invite - we've tried to make this for a few years and finally the timing worked out.

UTCC has lots of fast cars, but we were able to run up near the front - the only car that beat us is a full aero Mustang with 800-900hp on Hoosier slicks! Really were happy to come in 2nd.

SCCA TT Nats right after was fun, we had a great run group, very few issues and were able to learn over time how to optimize the car. The track surface seems to get worse and worse through the week, so not getting up to speed right away cost us, but on the last day in the morning with improved driving we were able to get the track record and be the only car in the 1:46's. With a good track surface we thought a 45 might have been possible...

Pitt Race is a great facility, so sad to see that it's being closed after this year. We've had fun learning the track the last few years and setting some fast times.

A couple notes from this session:

#1 The data displayed is from the Motec Dash! First time we had it working in the Plaid. We don't have all the channels working yet, so we don't have exact power numbers or a few other fun things - hopefully soon.

#2 SCCA TT Nats is scored on the best time over the first two days PLUS the fastest time on the final day. So even though we have the track record, our time from the first two days didn't get us the overall win.
