John Major was kind enough to loan me his beautiful Spec E46 for the last HPDE3/4 session over the NASA TX weekend at MSR Cresson.

This was my first time driving a Spec E46 so it took me 5-7 laps to figure it out and start pushing. For the second half of the session, I was lucky enough to get behind a very competent S2000 driver who made for a pretty good rabbit. There's definitely 2-3 more seconds in the car if I actually heel-toe it, use 5th gear, and rev it all the way to redline. I think a low 1:20 is within reach.

Thanks for the opportunity, John, it was a blast!
