Crazy weekend with back-to-back-to-back days at Sonoma. Friday wasn't in the original plan, but I wanted to just hang out, help with novice instruction, and get some laps in. After 3 days on AR1s, I had lost a lot of confidence in myself and the tires, so I wanted to rebuild some of that so I can be better when I put the CRS on. Friday was super hot though with track temps over 100F, so that was rough. Saturday was much better, and I even had a chance for a 48 while still on AR1s. To be fair to the tires, they still had plenty of life when I got rid of them. On a lighter car, they would be an excellent lapping tire and wouldn't fall off so quickly in a session. If/when I start tracking a better (aka lighter) car, I might try them again.

As for the CRS, they're def fast. The turn-in isn't as good/immediate as RE71RS, but mid corner grip once the tires are loaded is insane. It'll take some time to get better at them for sure. Their heat tolerance was also impressive. I've never run a tire where my pressures would actually drop 1-2 PSI while not on a cooldown. Now that I'm back on a much grippier tire, the car is back to pushing out of corners. I'm also not getting any entry rotation either, so I'm going to put my rear sway bar back to full middle. I think I'm okay with how my dampers are set, so I'll leave those alone.

Sunday could have been the day to really put down good laps, but I was so tired at that point. Next up will be at Laguna in a couple weeks. Need to recover mentally and physically from all these track days so I can do well on these grippy tires though.
