Hey everybody, welcome to the breakdown of my second session out with Lana. This was definitely a learning experience! First order of business: the technical side. I still need to reconfigure the video dash settings, and I just haven't gotten around to that yet, so bear with me on that front. More importantly, you'll probably notice the camera footage is a little... lively. Turns out our current camera mount isn't cutting it; it was just too unstable. So, that's a definite priority to fix before the next outing to get some super stable shots for you all.
Now, on the performance side, I'm happy to report some progress! I managed to put down a 1:08.664 on lap 7, which shaved about a second off my previous best. So, definitely finding some more speed with the car, which is awesome.
However, the session ended on a bit of a sour note. I had a spin, and unfortunately, my reaction time on the clutch wasn't quick enough, which led to me burning out the starter. So, yeah, Lana ended up getting pulled back to the paddock. Not ideal, but it's all part of the journey, and we'll get it fixed and be back stronger next time!
