Ride along in the #512 FastBrakes / Fortune Auto Mazda RX-8 at Summit Point Jefferson Circuit during the October 2017 SCCA Time Trial event. SCCA Time Trials (TT) is a time attack style event where the fastest lap of the day is counted, and are run during the same weekends as Performance Driving EXperience (PDX) events.

The #512 finished first in class and second overall on index. The best lap time was a 1:22:46. The track is very bumpy, and later suspension rebound adjustments significantly improved the handling. Due to the hotter weather, however, i was unable to run a faster time.

The Summit Point Jefferson Circuit is a 1.7 mile, 14-turn circuit with significant elevation changes, tight corners, and a rather bumpy surface. It is a fun, technical, and challenging circuit that will test both the car and the driver.

Data was captured with an android phone running RaceChrono and an external Garmin Glo 10Hz GPS. The video and telemetry data was merged using Dashware.
