It was a wet-ish track for the first race of the May-ish sprints. Lap 10 saw Jeff Lehner go three wide at the braking zone for the bus stop, and pulled off the pass -- from 3rd to 1st in one corner. Rob Reid and Craig (me!) gave chase, but ran out of laps before we could respond.
It was intense because we really didn't know how much grip there'd be in each corner. There was just a lot of "I hope it's still dry", and fortunately it was (until the cooldown lap).
I started 7th, moved up to 3rd before the incident behind (I don't think poor Theo expected a second car to try that move on the inside of turn 5). I managed to get Pat for 2nd before the double yellow.
Rob and I changed positions for the lead, until Jeff showed up and stole the show in lap 10.
