“Second lap this day — way off the car’s full potential..
Just flirtin’ with the edge, havin’ a good time.” 100% stock car on CUP2:s

ℹ️ So in this case, it’s a total of seven laps driven in a completely new car. (Drove 5 push laps April 19th, Easter weekend + these 2 laps 25 April) Then just a few in traffic 25 & 26 of April with other cars. Thats it, I never drive many laps. Try to see data logg 📊 and just improve by that.

And I haven’t driven here since September 2022. Not even driving cars since then. (Except 2 day rental at SPA & 1 day NBR GP with #porschetrackexperience)

So there’s definitely a lot of potential to improve. I’d guess that just switching to Cup 2R tires or Trofeo RS would easily give me another one to two seconds on these 7.3km.

To get under three minutes, I obviously need a bit more seat time — really nail the North Loop, and of course the South Loop as well. This is definitely the most challenging track we have in, well, let’s say, Northern Europe.

A huge thanks to Porsche Club Norway for letting me join! After all, I am a Norwegian citizen, (live in an other country) and it was truly a joy to meet my fellow countrymen — and even get the chance to practice my language skills a bit. Thank you❤️🇳🇴

Specs for context
• My 992 GT3: minimal spec – steel cage, steel brakes, BOSE, no lift – 1510 kg (full fluids, 90L, no driver)

• My 992 GT3 RS: minimal spec – steel cage, steel brakes, BOSE, no Weissach, no lift – 1536kg (full fluids, 90L, no driver)

Both cars were placed on the same calibrated scale at a vehicle inspection station!

I am 80kg

• Both cars are spartan in spec – focused on drivetrain and driving feel over comfort or extras

Stock Porsche Performance Setup (by Manthey):
• Camber: -2.80° front & rear
• Toe: slight toe-in front & rear
• Anti-roll bars: soft front (1/3), medium rear (2/3)
