My best lap and PB at @weathertechraceway during the @86challenge round 2.
I was on a low 1:42 lap when I had to abort because a car lost control on T9. On the following lap, we got traffic at the corkscrew, and that definitely took us some time. Other than that I lost the entry a bit on t3 which made me get a RL wheel off-track on exit. Lastly, we hit the sausage on T10. My optimal lap was a 1:42.1 and I'm pretty sure I could have done a 1:42.4-5 if it wasn't traffic.
Being my second time at Laguna with a relatively OEM setup, I am pretty happy with it. After watching @trackday_gr86, I am pretty sure I can pick some time at the corkscrew if I improve my line.
The car setup...
OEM struts/springs/dampers
-2.1 front camber using SPC camber bolts and swapping top to bottom OEM rear camber
OEM rear sway bar
Perrin 19mm front sway bar(one side hard, one side soft)
OEM Caliper, XP12 front, XP10 rear, dust shields delete, GT3 air ducts mod
Lastly, but not least, "The magic tires", Bridgestone RE71RS 225/40x18 mounted on OEM premium wheels.
I'm ready to throw a high 41 next time when I implement a few improvements I took from @gr86.x2 telemetry and @trackday_gr86 winning lap video.
