First time in a Porsche at a track, and first session at Exotics Racing / Speed Vegas, although I did build the track in Assetto Corsa and practiced a little bit on the sim before coming there.

The instructor was not happy with my driving at all (despite saying "really-really good" at the end of this video). Moreover, right after the session, he went to the management and they spent 15+ minutes reviewing the video in a back room. Then they came out together and I got a lecture on how I should not drive. Too much sliding, too much "play in the rear", too much curbs. Once I have more time, I'll post the second video from the track there, in a GT3RS. I got almost kicked out from the track on lap 2.

While I agree with some of their feedback, something about their communication felt off to me after I left and I can't say that I was satisfied with what I got. For example, have a look at the time 0:50s. The instructor says "too much play in the rear". After reviewing the video many times, I can't see too much play there at all (I mean you don't even see countersteer there!). In fact, what *I think* I see there is exactly what I want there — the car rotates smoothly before the apex, gets pointed where I want it to go and then I have an easy full throttle section after that. In fact, the second lap shows exactly the undesired opposite — not enough rotation, the car understeered and I had to hit the sausage curb a bit more than I wished.

The car felt absolutely fantastic. It was fairly soft (not a race car) but it felt light, balanced, very easy to push and play with. The lap time can certainly be improved in a few places with more practice.

This lap was the fastest on their leaderboard for this car. The leaderboard has data since 2023, and they have an older one before that. Taking the old one into account, this would have been the third fastest time, 0.3s off the record. However I don't know if the track changed since then and if this is a fair comparison.
