Despite the extremely excessive wind yesterday at Willow Springs, I was able to get a PB for the clockwise configuration in the second session of the day. The only change to the car from the GRIDLIFE event was moving down to 245/40/17 RT660's; the car just felt like a boat with 255's (really hard to explain), using 91 Octane, which I think made the car feel more balanced in the turns. Prior to this event I had run in the TRD Series Round 3 (video coming soon) and while I did go faster on the CCW config the car felt really loose because of the extra torque, but like today the wind was not our friends that day either....

Overall I'm happy with where the car is right now and there are a multitude of people and shops along this journey that have helped me improve as a driver, and I'm looking forward to growing some more along this journey. I think the next goal is getting smoother with my braking and giving the car less steering input in certain spots. Going to review the data and try to hit 1:25 next.
