New PB! Put down two 2:27 lap times this weekend at Sebring in the Nismo! 370Z's catch a lot of flak as a racing platform that I believe is misplaced. I swapped brake pads from Winmax W5's to G-LOC R16's up front and R10 in the rear. I felt I wasn't getting enough brakes from the car to get faster. I then put on a set of 285 R | 275 F Bridgestone RE71RS's. The tire heats up in a lap, feels immediate, and has loads of grip. I was able to brake later and and attack more aggressively. Car is still full weight, same mostly stock suspension setup, bolt ons, and tune from RS-Enthalpy. T1 I can carry a tad more speed, T7, I was off apex by a couple feet, Bishops Bend I should shift at the start of the turn, and T17 I need to get on the power earlier on exit. It didn't help the Porsche was in my line pitting in. I believe I can squeeze a 2:26 as it sits. If I had seats and a harness, a 2:25 would be possible. I'm all over the place in my seat and messes up my concentration, slows turn in, and my shifting as I'm trying to reach the clutch pedal. Coils would definitely help as well. I'll continue to update the car slowly where it needs it most with a goal of running a sub 2:25 without R Comps and without gutting the car.

Car makes 350WHP, weighs 3300lbs, runs street tires, and blows cold air.
