Aus Time Attack PRD Class Winning lap 1'03"9

It was a day full of drama.

The brake fluid spilled out in the first section, the bleed screw was loosen due to the strong vibration from warp rotors. Although I machined the rotor but the problem hasn’t been solved. Luckily the track was still wet, not much pressure applied to the calipers.

Once the track dried out, i put on a set of green 285 tyres. But I found my phone can not connect to the lap timer, so I opened a whatever timer when heading on track, and I was distracted by those dancing figures. As a result I got 1’04”4 which wasn’t too bad at all.

Then it was the winning session. Brake issue was still there, can carry it, not a big problem, but what are those noises. Humm, as long as car is still running, who cares. Later on I found it is the longer lug bolts touching and grinding the hub.

First lap was 1’04”4,
Second lap was 1’03”9, but I lost the exit of T10, a tenth? Oops.

Was it a perfect lap? No, but it is enough to secure the first place in Prodsprint. It is better to leave some room for improvement, isn’t it?

A huge thank to John Boston, for having the Aus time attack during the tough time.

A huge thank to Maxeuro, I couldn’t achieve it without Michael’s team support. Believe or not, we scheduled brake fluid flashing, rotor replacing, spring changing in the pit

A huge thank to Lamspeed for parts supply and solution, Charles always find me parts, no matter how late I told him.

A huge thank to Mfactory, Leo got me a set springs in 2 days from oversea, although I take those springs as spare, just in case.

At the end of day, it is beautiful.

Oh what have I done to the car? No secrets, front camber kit from Maxeuro, down pipe from Lachlan Han, racing fuel and brake pads from lam speed. Tyres from bridgestone tarenpoint.
