Nankang CRS v.2
Testing out Nankang CRS v.2 with @SpecRMotorsports Overall Peak Grip is better than the sister AR1 tire, however does grease up earlier as expected from a 200TW. Good Fast Tire, Like these more than the competition A052(sorry James)
Been driving abit sloppy this year so far, 1:42 for sure possibly even a high 1:41 without a passenger.
Final impressions: If you’re looking for a PB tire, the CRS v.2 is superior, the only thing lacking is that it is not consistent for an entire session, gets greasey faster vs AR1 however this is understandable considering it is a 200tw
If you are looking a track learning tire that is consistent throughout session, AR1 is the one for you. It may not be as fast as CRS but as long as the pressures are set right it will last the entire session.
Either Nankang Option is great choice 👍
The dreaded icemode from last year is back. Sketchy..... will try playing around with pressures as suggested by Steven and Maxx. Up next Time Attack @ Ridge Motorsports Park
