There is still some room for improvement (see below) but I exceeded my own expectations with this lap! I used the turn 3 and 14 apex curbs this year which helped improve my lap times but they can cause oversteer. PTM Race allowed me to push a little more without major oversteer compared to everything off which I ran in the next session but I didn't manage to beat this lap.

This was my 4th hot lap (with the first one being slow). I started at 27psi with completely cold tires and only got them up to 32-33psi max on this lap according to Cosworth Toolbox which is 2psi lower than I normally target for hot pressures at the end of the session but the tires felt great on this lap. The average max tire air temp was about 115°F on this lap.

- I braked too early before turn 1.
- The traction circle graph in the lower left shows my corner entries could be better in some places.
- Turn 6 apex curb is usable but it can unsettle the car and the track was muddy at corner exit for most of the weekend from people going off and/or re-entering the track there so it was not a great place to push your luck.

HPDE4 run group 2nd day (Sunday), 1st session of the day (best weather conditions) at NOLA Motorsports Park 2.75 (with the esses) with NASA on 3/10/2024.

2017 Camaro SS 1LE. Unmodified engine using PTM Race for this lap, 2021 & 2022 date code takeoff Goodyear Supercar 3 (220 treadwear) tires that started the weekend at 6/32" tread depth, track alignment (camber: -2.3° front, -2.1° rear, toe: +0.03° front on each side, +0.06° rear each side), SPL Rear Toe Links with Eccentric Lockout, BMR BK063 Rear Diff Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit, FEA front lower front control arms from ZL1 1LE (since stock fluid filled bushings leaked), 2021 SS 1LE ABS control module (EBCM) to get better ice mode calibration (found on 2019+ SS 1LEs) which prevents intermittent hard brake pedal and reduced stopping force in bumpy braking zones (probably helped in the braking zone between turns 12 and 13 that has gotten a little bumpy), Castrol SRF DOT 4 brake fluid, stock Brembo (Ferodo HP1000/1) brake pads, GM plastic track brake cooling deflectors, smaller GM metal brake dust / splash shields, Ikon Motorsports 2019+ stock style 3 piece front splitter. The car is in track mode with touring steering mode and track exhaust mode. Ambient temperature was about 58°F, about 62% humidity. 15mph wind from NNE.
