This is my best lap yet in my old 1992 miata (Still with the 1.6L motor and VLSD!) The time was a 1:50.50 :) Still not as quick as a front running SM, but I'm MAYBE making 110hp at best @ the wheels...so I'm down a good 10-15hp @ the wheels.....I feel good about that :)

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

This is my same old setup I always ran...car weight with hardtop and driver I now found is about 2320lbs. I need to drop about 70 more lbs...so Maybe next step is removal of the heater core? We'll see...

This was with my P/S and A/C still in the car (I've since removed it).

Setup "changes" from last MSR-Houston video:
- 13x9 keizers
- WELL USED Hankook F200 180/550-13 slicks

They work well for about 15 min in this heat...then they really fall off. They're fronts for like a FB scca formula racer...so my car is about 1000lbs more than their intended application.

I'm excited to try them in the late fall when it's about 50 outside. Same grip for longer and more power. This was May 30. 2010.

Weather was about 88-90 degrees, sunny with 50-65% humidity. So while not blisteringly hot, it's not ideal ;)
