First event of 2023. This is my 4th time here at Buttonwillow. Slightly improved my laptime compared to last November. It is nice to see SoCal 86cup folks today.
I tried a new brake pads setup but it feels like I got a bit too much front bias. The car locks up quite easily in entry and cause understeer. I will try a bit more aggressive rear pads next time. From the data log, the Syms oil pan baffle didn't improve the oil pressure drop issue much. I am seeing a bit more pressure drop at T2 (the off ramp, hard low speed right turn) but lower pressure drops at phil hill (high speed right turn + hill top). At the end of riverside the oil pressure drop seems to be slight improve. Overall, I think this oil pan baffle does not worth it, though it doesn't seem to make the matter worse.
