On October 22nd, we had the privilege of visiting one of the most beautiful circuits in the world - Parcmotor Castelloli. Set in the stunning hills just outside of Barcelona, the circuit features a cross-over bridge and has cliffs in close proximity to the track. Video simply does not do the track justice, as the size of the surrounding hills and the elevation change are far more substantial in real life.
The track really feels like something straight out of Gran Turismo - a mix between Grand Valley Speedway and Trial Mountain.
Our Euro 2022 Model 3, equipped with most of the MPP catalog, as well as our good friend Christopher from France, made the journey for Grip Spain's lapping and time attack.
The organizers were fantastic, and we have to thank them for allowing us to attend the event and being so welcoming. So far I have to say that events run in Spain are at the same level, or exceed the level of North American events - even though they are operating in a smaller market. The passion really fuels them to do such a great job with everything!
The top 3 cars in Unlimited were all within 1 tenth of a second - it was a tight battle and I believe everyone went faster than last year's best times!
