Swapping back and forth between brand new Nanking CRS V2s and older RE71RSs, but not being able to compare directly due to traffic. Last minute change to the Bridgestones might have saved the event for me, as a fellow competitor switched to sticker Nankings for the TT and lost .8 over their best lap. I would not recommend the Nankings, for anyone asking… The Bridgestones seem to blow them out of the water on all categories, but will do more testing. Sloppy first lap, locked in for the second, messy again for the third. Winning TT lap starts at the second pass under the bridge, around 1.52.
With that, managed top time for T80 by about .4, with top three in class all breaking the previous track record. Official TT time was 1.17.126 - timing for this event starts under the bridge.
Sorry about the view - hadn’t used this GoPro before and it was apparently on some stupid horizon lock setting.
