I had a successful weekend at NOLA Motorsports Park. Broke the track record by 3.7 seconds and took home first place finishes both days. Here is a couple of 1:54 laps around NOLA. The second lap is the new NASA TTC record at 1:54.1. This was done on old Hoosier R7's (19 heat cycles) that I used at last year's East Coast Championships (VIR). My dampers are also needing a rebuild. They are leaking badly. 1:52's should easily be achievable with fresher tires and properly functioning dampers.
This wouldn't be possible without the best in the business backing me: SujaOne Motoring, Deft Motion, Papaya Motorsports, Grams Performance, and Menchie's Frozen Yogurt.
Also, thanks to Hoosier Racing Tire, AST Suspension USA, and Hawk Performance for supporting NASA racers with their generous contingencies.
It was awesome hanging out with good friends and making new ones from NASA Mid South, NASA NOLA, and NASA Texas.
