Another P1 in 86 Challenge Street class, but this time I did not manage to beat the record. It was raining for three days prior, so during the first session the track was damp and too risky to push. It mostly dried up by the second session, but another participant drove over a puddle on the inside of turn 3 and threw a bucket of water onto the track, immediately making it ~0.3 seconds slower. By session 3 the temperatures already climbed up a bit, and the track was just slower all around. Still, I was able to beat my previous PB by 0.582 and finally get into the 44s. Tbh, that didn't even feel like a great lap, with a few mistakes and a close call in T10. Still, a win is a win!
This time Speed SF were tremendously helpful in allocating us a dedicated run group, so we had BRZ/86/FR-S -only sessions throughout the day, with even a professional looking pre-grid before each session!
