Setup changes/maintenance
- oil change
- CSG C1X with new rotors

Kind of a last minute thing to sign up for this, but I wanted to shake down the new front pads and tires. The C1X supposedly provides better modulation, but it's hard to tell on my car. I have the most track time on RE71RS with C21, so maybe I'll be able to compare them better when I decide to go back to the REs. Regardless, C21s are discontinued so doesn't really matter. The C1X still bites hard.

Instead of 275s, I went with 265s on the AR1s because I found specs online that said the tread width on 265s is 10.2", so I was afraid the 275s would run too wide. They're looking a bit narrow, but it's fine. Compared to the V730s, the AR1s are pretty good out the gate, turn-in feel is way better, and there's def more grip. They fell off though once the temps got high. A cooldown lap seemed to help, but I think I'd rather just end the session early once it gets to that point. They seem to have a higher temperature window than the RE71RS though so I should get more quality track time. Hopefully they get to 20 HCs.

My straight line speed was noticeably down compared to a couple weeks ago. I did have some heat problems today especially when I'm tailing cars and breathing in hot exhaust, but even when temps were good, I'm just not hitting the same vmaxes. My alignment is pretty messed up: toe is off again and camber is super uneven. The car is also a bit too loose mid-corner and exit, so I need to tweak the balance. It's a bit painful when I compare my speeds last year when I did a 38. The car had much better acceleration back then. Maybe I need to dial down the rear camber or something.
