First time back at VIMC since the 40°C weekend in July. This was in the first session Saturday morning.

After a few lead follow laps, we were able to go at our own pace. After passing a few cars I saw a GT3RS up ahead so I was pushing to try to catch him, that led to this lap and the following spin. There are many factors that contributed to the spin but to put it simply I pushed a little too hard too early. 

Luckily the gravel trap was there to stop me before I hit the wall and nothing was damaged.

Tires were 225/45/15 g.force Rivals that I had just picked up used with some 15x9 wheels. I switched back to the 205f 225r toyo RR after the spin, but I couldn't get any better than a 1:24 with them on the Saturday. I came back Sunday and after lunch got a couple 1:22.8 laps with the RR. For the last session of the day Sunday I decided to put the Rivals back on, hoping for redemption, I was able to set a time of 1:22.22 before the end of the session!

Temps ranged from 18c to 25c over the weekend vs the 40°C temps where I set my previous PB

my previous PB was a 1:25.81 so I was very surprised to see the 1:23 on my first session and I am very pleased with my times this weekend!
