This was a morning session I ran. Fog started lifting and the air was cool. I was still starting to get comfortable again. I started gaining confidence with the RE71RS's and the extra speed they afforded me. I was still dialing in brake zones, but even then, I ran off a pretty good time. I didn't realize I cracked 2:27 before I ultimately ran slightly faster. I noticed the cooler weather allowed the car to accelerate faster than my later session. My brake zones weren't as tight, but I was carrying good speed through most sections. The other thing I noticed is my transitions throughout the cornering process were slower here than later in the day. Had I run that lap the same time I ran this, It would have probably cracked 2:26.
