First time taking my daily driver to the track, did a 2:08.635 in second session when i found one clean lap.
No weight reduction, no power mod(aftermarket BOV as you can heard but that doesn't help power), stock interior and sway bar, Tein src ct9a coilover installed with SCE evo suspension adapter, volkmetalcraft rear upper control arm. EVOX BBS with 245/40r18 continental extremecontact force. Porterfield R4 pads, r1 concept rotors(no good), 3sx brake line.
I think the car can do 2:06 but couldn't get it done, only ran 2 sessions in the morning when it was 50f outside, before I find a good enough line and braking point for this car the front rotors cracked from outside all the way close to the hub area, had to tow it back due to rotor failure, but engine holds up good. Also there are 3 corners where the engine will cut power completely, not low boost, not pull timing, it's not low power but lost power like completely off the throttle, had no control until the engine rpm dropped to 5k then i can start to accelerate again. Not fuel starvation problem, first session was running on 3/4 tank and it does the same. Might be electronic like ckp or cmp sensor, my miata did exact same thing two years ago, lost power when exiting corner like reached max grip but heavy throttle, rpm need dropped to 4k before I can accelerate, it was CKP on my miata.

In the comment, this was how i found and fixed the miata, could be same idea on vr4?
