My first time at Watkins Glen International and first real outing for the year. Tons of room for improvement in braking/lines/curbing, but let me say that this track is TERRIFYING! There is 0 margin for error here in a couple crucial spots and The Glen takes no prisoners. I'll upload a longer vid in the future with tons more footage plus a quick shakedown at TNIA NJMP Lightning.
Car setup is pretty unchanged from last year except different front pads an adjustable prop valve. I'm still dialing in the brake bias.
Was fighting brake fade the whole event and the car was running PIG RICH the whole time (notice low 10's AFR). I have some adjustments to make before my next outing.
The 2nd lap is a flyer with the predictive lap flashing low 15's, but I get slowed down by a Miata (you'll hear me get very upset lol). The theoretical was a flat 15.0 with 9/10 confidence, so breaking into the 14's will be a cakewalk next time.
