I did only drive 3 push laps today and prior to each push lap I drive 1 slower lap to get temp in tire before push lap. I drive ESC 💯 % off but TC on to save rear tire.

2 laps to set tire pressure ..Hence in total 3 slow & 3 fast laps (total 8laps) and my left front tire is pretty much out of office now:-(
( I drive my cars to track and home always, came here on new tires) wow... these tire do wear out fast on this 7,3km track:-( and its as always the north loop here that kill the tire)

According to Michelin, CUP2 R is 0.5 seconds faster than CUP2 per/km if I read correctly?!

That makes approx. 3.6 sec on 7.3 km Gotland Ring only in tire change(from cup2 to cup2 R). But In my analysis before the trip, I realize that I, who also drive the car to the track, then go on track on same tire, can never take exactly 3.6 seconds because it must be #Peak Super Optimal circumstances where Michelin has achieved that speed (smooth, nice track, professional drivers, maybe tire warmers, simulations, they probably don't drive car to track and then lap same tire to set times on the track.). 

In the same way that Porsche sets times on NBR, Also Michelin get this from optimal circumstances. I can't count on getting the most out of the CUP2 R tires, especially when I drive them to the track. So I didn't count on making up the full 3.6sec on 7.3km just because Michelin under completely optimal conditions can do it & market this, I coldly counted on charging approx. 2.6 seconds at best. Well, as the movie shows, I unfortunately skid off approx. 1 sec up the hill on the northern track. (so without that it would theoretically be about 2.6sec for me on these tires here. (if it wasn't that I just drove better this time haha this is difficult and no one can know 100%, but my feeling after the driving & data analysis tells me it's in the tires) Of course I now drove completely without ESC.(because ESC is triggered too much on this track when I drive here at these speeds)

Because I drove with an oversteer, I only dropped 1.6sec with the CUP2 R against my PB from last time on the CUP2.(If I hadn't driven with the oversteer, it would have been exactly according to the analysis, approx. 2.6 seconds off the lap time from last time on cup2 tires).

Extremely difficult on Gotland, which wears out cup2r tires extremely fast due to rough pavement on the northern track, to just disconnect the ESC and set the lap straight away, because you don't get many chances with these tires here. Driving the car on a trailer to the track, driving in on CUP2 tires, then when you are warm in your clothes hang on the rims with CUP2R and set times is indeed much easier.( I don't do that:-) I drive to the track on the same tires I drive out on the track with & it will be what it will be :-)
