In this second session, 949Racing is running solo while I untapped my cars full power and sharpened up the rear dampers in an attempt to cancel out the understeer that my car exhibits during corner entry and midcorner of long sweepers, which most of Chuckwalla is composed of. Also, I managed to set my personal best lap time during this session at 2:03.5, the first full lap after flying off the track midway through this session.
Chuckwalla Valley Raceway: A brand new racetrack has just been built in SoCal, and 949Racing and I were there to break-in the new piece of pavement and figure out how to run this unfamiliar course. As you see in the video, we both try many different things based on our driving style and car setup to help each other find the best and fastest way around the circuit. Chuckwalla Valley Raceway is surprisingly technical, has very good flow and rhythm and very forgiving in case you screw up.
